In your sessions you can expect to become more aware of your body and vocal instrument through explained vocal anatomy, develop more confidence and mindfulness, expand your repertoire, learn how to maintain a healthy voice and gain valuable exercises and techniques to ensure you’re singing as easily and efficiently as possible. Some students may learn basic music theory and sight-reading. Some lessons may include physical activity to assist with posture, abdominal strength, holding patterns and/or tension. In a safe, judgement free environment, students have the opportunity to experience real personal growth.

Testimonials:

There is no-one I trust more with my voice than Lucy. Her knowledge of singing technique and vocal anatomy puts her up with the best teachers in the industry. She truly is a voice specialist. I urge anyone needing lessons to look no further than Lucy. I always leave invigorated and inspired. Any vocal issues or concerns are met with the upmost professionalism and care. She is more than a singing teacher, she is a singing wizard! – Jonathan Hickey, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, SWEENY TODD, LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, ASPECTS OF LOVE, FANTASTICKS

Lucy is such a wonderful and thorough teacher. It had been a moment since I’d had a tuneup & check in lesson. Through going back to fundamentals we were able to work through and smooth out any bumps I had in the material I’d brought. I left feeling empowered. It was an incredibly supportive environment, and what I appreciate most is her understanding that one size doesn’t fit all. If something wasn’t working, she had a plethora of other tools and exercises to draw from to achieve the same result. Being a performer herself, her knowledge is current and understanding of what we needed to achieve was relevant. Lucy has her finger very much on the pulse. I would recommend Lucy to anyone that is looking for a supportive and holistic singing teacher. – Sam Skuthorp, TITANIC, SWEENEY TODD, INTO THE WOODS, ITS A BEAUTIFUL GAME

“Lucy is a fantastic tutor. She’s supported me not only with technique and control but also my confidence to step out and perform to the best of my abilities. All of this has helped me secure a role in a London musical theatre production, which I would never have gone for without Lucy’s support and guidance. A truly professional and incredibly talented tutor – I would recommend her to anyone wishing to improve their vocals.” – Chris, London

“I can’t thank Lucy enough for helping me during the whole audition process and after 4 call backs I received a call to say I had won the role of Matilda!! I wouldn’t be here if wasn’t for Lucy believing in me. Lucy is a teacher with enthusiasm and passion for what she loves and always brings out the best in each and every one of her students. I have loved having her as my teacher and mentor.”  – Eva Murowski, MATILDA THE MUSICAL Australian tour

I’m a professional voice user with a drive to continue to grow as a technician and to sing easier. Having spent only a few lessons with Lucy as my teacher did not hinder her making a big impression on me. Her studio is cosy and alive. Her warm, informed, curious way of working makes a relaxed but productive time. Her professionalism is on par with some of the best teachers I’ve had before but her rate is much more affordable. I’ve recommended friends to Lucy. She has my wholehearted endorsement. – Connor Sweeney, HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD, MURIELS WEDDING

Today, I signed a contract for my first professional gig in a national touring show. I’ve worked really, really hard these past few years to get to where I’m at now, but honestly, without your training back in 2016/2017, I don’t think I would be in the position I am today. You helped me find my voice and discover my potential and I am truly thankful for that. You gave me such an amazing gift and I’ve had many singing teachers over the years, but you really found and brought something special out in me. I’ve always loved theatre, but you made me really appreciate it and inspired me to dig deeper into the craft of it. Honestly, I think if I never found you, I’m not sure I would have even pursued theatre any more than to a hobby or interest level. So really I just want to say I’m thankful, I know that you probably didn’t realise but you really changed my life for the better, forever. I truly appreciate it and I hope you continue on to change lives like you did mine, it’s an incredible gift. – Tori Roberts, WE WILL ROCK YOU Australian tour
